Organizational Operating System Investigation

Bring us the business question you haven't been able to answer.

Something changed. An acquisition, an AI rollout, a reorganization, a new hire at the top. You expected a specific transformation. It didn't arrive, or not the way you expected.

OOSI investigates the documentary evidence inside your organization to explain why, and what's actually standing between the change you made and the outcome you expected.

Questions an investigation can answer
  • Why didn't the acquisition improve performance?
  • Why isn't AI delivering the return we expected?
  • Why did productivity decline after the reorganization?
  • Are we actually ready for the certification we're pursuing?

Operational Reality

Most organizations can name the change. Few can name why the gap exists, or what's actually creating it. OOSI is built to answer that second question, using evidence, not opinions.

Our Philosophy

The evidence becomes the assessment.

We don't start with a questionnaire, and we don't start with a solution. We start with your business question, and with how your organization already operates, documented in the systems where the real work happens.

Interviews and surveys tell us what people believe happened. Documentary evidence tells us what actually did.

Policies, SOPs, org charts, governance records, project documentation, wherever it already lives, Google Drive, SharePoint, Confluence, Notion. We investigate documentary evidence first. Interviews get added later, only if the evidence calls for it.

How It Works

One question. A defined scope. A clear answer.

1

You bring the question

What changed, and what transformation you expected from it.

2

Temporary, read-only access

You grant access to the documentation relevant to that question. No changes are made. Access is revoked when the engagement concludes.

3

The investigation

We examine the evidence tied to your question using the OOSI methodology.

4

The findings

The specific organizational constraints creating your transformation gap, named and evidenced.

5

What you receive

An OOSI Case File, a Transformation Readiness Index, an Executive Decision Brief, and a 90 minute Executive Briefing.

What this investigation is not
  • Not a full organizational audit. The evidence reviewed serves your one business question, not an exhaustive review of everything in your company.
  • Not certification preparation. Readiness for SOC 2, ISO 42001, or the EU AI Act is a separate, broader engagement, scoped only once it's the right next step.
  • Not a recommendation to implement. OOSI identifies the gap and what's creating it. Closing it is a decision, and a project, that comes after.

SPOTS AVAILABLE AT THE FOUNDING RATE

This is a strategic partnership, not a standard engagement. In exchange for the founding rate, we ask permission to use anonymized findings as the methodology builds its first case studies and references.

Founding investment: $2,500 per engagement

Bring us the question. We'll tell you if OOSI can answer it.

This isn't a sales call. It's a 25 minute working session to name your question, confirm the evidence exists to answer it, and scope what the investigation would actually examine. Even if it's not a fit, you'll leave with more clarity than you came with.
